I mean limited time events or campaigns that last approximately a week, like in PARTY, Arithmetic, and some SWD games. How would you want them to be different?

I am obviously not stating every possible interval, so estimate what you prefer.

I want to say only Holiday...the big one that everyone celebrate
New Years, Christmas, Birthday, Valentine...and prefer it about one event only a month...or at least every couple weeks so I can hoard more stamina while doing Main Story

Except for a brand new game...which just came up...I want it come with event only after at least 2-3 months after
Giving event right away only 2 weeks since released is unforgivable...even more if its event is having impossible requirement for a mere new player
It might be possible if they give us some good bonus at earlier so we can have some stocks

Once every 1-2 weeks please ;w;
The reason I quit MFWP was that I couldn't juggle between event and "normal" time very well, and then I got burnt out since the events were starting to get pretty tough with requirements (+ i was always running out of closet spots too bc i didn't want to pay... so that was no fun).

Events are really fun, but they get a bit stressful since the story + prizes are for a limited amt of time. I never get to my event goal w/o having to pay to get there, so I have to give it my all to at least get a good chunk of my goal done.

Good question Aiwethryne! I agree with potao, these events are getting to be too much stress for me too. Have to make way too many sacrifices to get past events, i.e. less sleep, spend lots of $$, less time to work on other things

Think once a month for these events are probably ideal, let users take a break. I can barely manage 2 events at once I can't imagine others taking on more. @.@

I picked once a month. I gave up on the majority of games because of their crazy event schedules or because I simply couldn't handle playing all the games anymore.

I would like to see event for the big holidays and for birthdays, plus an event every now and then to make things more interesting. But no more back-to-back events... I wish for one event a month and a few weeks between events.

Assuming the requirements are similar to those in BMPP (average, a bit higher at times, but manageable overall without too much sacrifice for less ambitious players), I would like to have an event once a month. Celebration events generally are a must, but in a rare month when we don't have any holiday or birthday to celebrate, a special spin-off event would be fun. Throw in some AU elements, make it a whole new experience with the same cast (and same personalities), no need to stay canon all the time.

Events should be something special and infrequent. With the current avalanche of events, it seems to me that a non-event week feels more like an event in itself :'(
On the contrary, some games haven't had any event in months. It makes those games less alive in my eyes...

For BMPP which is a restarted version of the old social BMP Gree, maybe after rapid event sequences we will eventually catch up with where the old game left off and start picking up JPN progress so things will calm down then? Is that what they are planning to do? Even their staff should be tired of managing back-to-back events +_____+

I'd say once a month/ 4 times a year? Too much events and I tend to forget to play the basic game to focus on events, and after some time, I get tired and don't play the game nor the events.

Agree with most of you, once/month or even every 2 months would be good. They would feel more like events, too... I want time to focus on MSs as well =/

I'm losing my excitement more and more, avatar items keep coming, scenarios that kind of repeat themselves as well. By the next event, I often forget about the previous one, unless the stories were really something different.

I hate when all the events and early clear end at the same time(s), at the reset time(s). And I can't choose just one to focus on. I died a little after the last events. Gimme a break. =_=# I chose once every few weeks since only holidays/celebrations would still be a lot. Birthdays, New Year's, Valentine's, White Day, April Fools, Summer(fireworks) Festival, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Obon Festival, Golden Week, Xmas...and what of national holidays?

I would have to say once every 2-3 months. One month is still too much because an event is normally about 1-2 weeks. The stories are becoming really repetitive and there's no unique spark to it. I think they should take that one month to think of some original ideas. I'd like to focus on my main story which is like impossible.

Buttt.. they're doing this on purpose because after reading all the main stories, one would stop going on altogether. This is their idea of making everything longer to finish so that people stay reading, stay loyal. I would give ideas on how to solve this problem, but unfortunately I've got none. The side stories are never better than the main story.  :bash:

This is going to be different from others' points of views, but if there's no event I barely both opening up the app. I really love events for their beautiful clothing (yay!) and themed routes. It might be easier for me to juggle all of the events since I don't play as many games as others on this site (only 4).

Of course companies aren't interested to give us time to collect things to finish events w/o real money or risk losing players cause there is no events... This is why I prefer paid apps - you'd pay there once for one story and will be able to read it while app is active... and in "free" app you'd need to pay several times more for much shorter story which you'd be able to read only once.

I do like the idea of releasing one old and one new story between the rest period but there are limited side stories as well. I mean you can't repeat the holiday and birthday events, and those take up the most out of the year.

I think that the model for Ninja Love+ would make the most money while keeping people loyal. They release new avatars and new short stories in a raffle, all of which you have to use coins. There's also the "bookmark" for saving stories, that's really important. The coin system is really what makes people stay and there are people that go hard. Now, if they could go one level higher and find the change that could actually make people use their real money, then ohoh.... now we've got a good model.

Guhh well this is kind of difficult. How to make main story people vs side story people co-exist. The side stories is also the company's idea for the casual, monthly players. Thinking in this way, if I were part of the company I would put monthly side stories. The biggest problem is that the side stories take way too long to finish (1-2 weeks) especially for those that like to get both the happy and normal ending.

Actually, the events is what makes the company the most money. If you've ever seen those people on the top rankings, you know they paid good money to get there. If time permits, I would keep 3 character event stories but unfortunately it's too long, so the only thing I can suggest is to cut it to 2 characters and give some kind of bonus story after finishing one/both. Anyhow, that bonus would have to be something worthwhile because we just cut down 1 character.
