3) Name the album.

4) For 'Privacy' check all but 'Guest' for 'Read' and 'Write'.

5) Hit 'Submit' to submit your album.

***Note: Don't worry if your new album is not under the right folder. Just PM the admin or mods and we can move it into place for you.***

Back (#post_back)

Creating a Sub-Album

***Important: This is only for users who already created one album and want to add a sub-album to the album they already created. If you would like to create a sub-album in an album another user created just ignore step 4 then PM the admin or mods with your sub-album name and which folder it belongs in and we can move it into place for you.***

1) Select 'My Albums' on the top right corner of 'Spoilers'.

2) Select 'New Album'

3) Name the album.

4) Find 'Position' and 'Target' under the 'Description' text box.  Click the drop down for 'Position' and select either 'Before', 'After', or 'Child of'. Next, click on 'Target' and select the folder you want to put the new album in front, after, or make a sub-album of.

***Note: If you select an album that's already a sub-album of the folder you want the new album to be a sub-album of then select the 'After' option for 'Position' not 'Child of'.

4) For 'Privacy' check all but 'Guest' for 'Read' and 'Write'.

5) Hit 'Submit' to submit your album.

thanks for this @KC

On Creating Sub Album, 3rd step (the one with "Spoiler" written on your example), I have no option only a blank box. And I just moved it manually to Album

[member=16386]S.Sumire[/member] oops forgot to update this, only admins and mods can move folders anywhere, you can create sub folders in folders you made but not in other users folders so just ignore the placement area and just make the folder. Post back here to let me know the folder name and where it belongs and I will move it into the right place =)

I have no idea what people are doing that makes their album not be part of the rest... Are you starting from "My Albums" and then hitting create an album? Serious question to see how to fix the problem.

Also, Please make sure you are un checking read and write for guest.

no its the correct way it's just when you or sometimes others make an album it doesn't show under the main list and only shows under your own profile. Meaning i have to manually move them into the correct spot even though when others post it automatically goes to the correct spot or there is a notice that it needs to be approved.

when someone created an album, have you ever got a notification?

If so, maybe I need to check or un check (✓) something...~.~

EDIT: I looked through it, don't see anything else than the "reading and writing" for guests that is checkable/un checkable

yes i have had to approve some albums people have made. I actually just approved all of Oichi albums she made the past 2 days. and after i approved them they were already where they needed to be. expect for one which i moved up to the list.

Those checks are something different.

I can tell you how I did it, hopefully it solves your problem ^^

First I created a new album like it is explained here, then I waited a few hours until it was excepted. That should be the Album Lilwyn had to move. After that my view in My Albums changed. It now shows all Albums in a list.

I created a Sub-Album like it is said in the first entry and then the Album appeared at the end of the list, so I manually moved it to my Album with "Move" (which stands next to the Album) and placed it as a child of my Album.

I'm not a nativ speaker, so if it is confusing and you don't understand something, just ask again ^^

EDIT:...err...I can't delete the album I made...-.-  It's called "Testing, will delete it" , it works tho

I wanted to add CG from Shall we date? Guilty Alice on the album already created but I can't. Do I have to create a new one and add the images in?

Err....did adding CG Albums change a bit?

I came here to see how to add...cuz I thought I forgot, but the "My Albums" button is gone. Hope I'm not overlooking it?

Yes, KC reinstalled that portion about seven days ago because of some technical issues. It should not impact your viewing and uploading capabilities, I assume.

^Hmm....when I go to "spoilers" I see this,

"My Albums" and the other button are gone...

To clarify, yes, the My Albums button is gone, as well as everything else that was on the right side. You will be unable to create *new* folders. The same thing is happening on both my side and Lilwyn's account (fairly sure everyone would be like this), and I already mentioned this issue in Mod Chat a few days ago after I was uploading stuff. KC is probably too busy at the moment to work on this.

But everything else is the same. I guess this current state would be considered "regular member" view, when all of us used to have a wider breadth of moderation access. From the window you screenshotted, click on a title. In that folder, click "Add an item to this album." That's... all you need to do for image uploads. It's no different than how I always did it. XD The Home page link that used to also be on the right side can be accessed by pressing the Media button on the left side.
