Title: Lost game data on accident in voltage game apps?
Post by: pomeramyn on May 15, 2016, 05:45:21 AM
My note 3 glitched & I had to master reset my phone and of course it deleted everything, but I thought I had saved my games onto my SD card but it was not. I redownloaded the apps but I wasn't able to link them to my first accounts because I don't have the original ID's :( What should I do?

I don't believe Voltage games are saved to your SD card, they are saved via Email. If i remember correctly every time you open a new game of theirs you input your Email. This however only applies if you are using the same OS. If your new device isnt the same as the last then youre out of luck, If you do manage to retrieve your data you will have to reread stories to get your cgs too.
If that doesn't work you're going to have to contact Voltage and most likely be told you're out of luck :/

REMEMBER to always get your transfer data at the start of every Otome game you play, It's imperative!!!

I just contacted them and hopefully they do answer. *crosses fingers* I am using the same device I just had to reset my phone to it's first stage. (Deleted everything) Where do you find the email option? I remember putting my email for some of them, but I don't know the original ID'S :(.

Did you make purchases in these games? Transfer data pretty much just saves your progress in your games. And the purcheses are usually email bound since youre buying them through google play or ios app store.
Under settings you can see the email option but not sure how a clean new game look.

Okay so i looked at the FAQ sheet and it said if you purchased  content simply go to the stories youve purchased  and click  them even if they say buy because you cannt rebuy what youve already bought.  This of course only appliea if your using the same google/ios account.

If this confuses you, simply click the faq sheet for yourself on one of the voltage games.
