I'll post questions as they come to me. And appreciate all the effort!

MFWP has been my only other party game, as well as the Voltage game I've spent the most time in, so my brain is trying to relate things to what I know in that game to better understand this one. So just a warning, many of my questions will probably be 'is X thing in BMPP like Y in MFWP' and I don't know if those are worth adding to the faq or not since it's not a general question and new players to BMPP who haven't played MFWP would probably not understand my question in the faq, and I wouldn't want to cause more confusion. 

The Top Page contains announcements and surveys, but you must scroll below all of the banners before you can see them. You can only fill out one survey per day.

I'm looking, but I don't see any surveys. Or do you mean the periodic user feedback surveys like I'm familiar with in MFWP?


Are SHE in events actually secret? The way you describe the two event ends being Secret Happy vs Happy, they sound more akin to Happy End and Normal End in MFWP.

All the variations of Love Factors are confusing. Which are equivalent to MFWP's Individual Affection vs Total Affection? ILV and CLV sounds like it would be the same thing.

How do I travel date? Do I need a mate first? Is there any benefit (to me) to having dates at their place instead of mine?


And here are not questions but things that might be added:

You can't join any events while still on the common route. You'll see the popup with the teaser info/conversation for the event, but you won't be able to proceed past that or view any of the event details. The event page will not even load, clicking that will just replay the teaser because the game will never see you having finished reading it. You need to have left the common route and begun a main route before having the ability to look at and/or join events.

I still remember MFWP enough~

Surveys are generally the same as in MFWP. I doubt the questions will ever be that different. The only discernible comparison would be how one old survey in BMPP talked about the GREE version. However, all surveys are temporary. I am sure that in MFWP it said that you would get a reward for participation during XX month, so that is the limit in how long the survey lasts.

Yes, the Secret Happy Endings and Happy Endings in BMPP's events are the same as Happy Endings and Normal Endings in MFWP. There is nothing secret about the SHE. I earnestly believe that Voltage changed the ending names they had in the GREE version to justify their insane TLF requirements and Double End prizes. The GREE version's Normal Endings in events were actually easier to complete, and all that players would miss out on were CGs and avatar winnings. Instead, PARTY makes it painful to simply complete one of GREE's former NEs.


How to Travel Date~
Go to your My Town, click the Mates button at the bottom right, and choose a mate with a pink heart. Yes, you need at least one Princess Mate. You will be transferred to your mate's My Town, and you must click on one of her Spots and confirm. To move to the next Princess Mate, click the Mates button again and follow the cycle until the pink hearts are all empty, meaning you got everyone.

Travel Dates get you Royal Factors for the main route, but Travel Dating helps your mates by decreasing their Spot requirements for a Grade Up every time you do this. Same for if they Travel Date at your Spots. During Town Events, Travel Dates additionally give you a fraction of a point for that event. Most of my mates do not Travel Date until Town Events. Same for me. Too lazy.


Yeah, ILF and CLF can be the same thing, but I am accounting for all of the acronyms I see other players use. Like the "e." I would not have listed that if I had not seen players constantly shorthanding the word "event" that way.

The game itself calls it "individual Love Factors," hence ILF. However, most players just say LF instead of ILF. CLF is more used in memory of the GREE version, but it is applicable for players who will say, "my current route LF is 4K." ILF or LF can refer to a player's total personal LF during the entire route. Whatever you use is just preference. It annoyed me when previous event walkthroughs used the MFWP terms of Affection, only because that was not the technical term, in spite of the congruency. After all, there are players who only play BMP and players who only play MFW.

Speaking of acronyms, I know lots of players also use PM/EM for Princess Mates/Event Mates. Naturally.

There seem to be some avatar items (which I do not have equipped) I don't get the option of selling?

There is only the eyebrows that cannot be deleted, but we have never gotten eyebrow substitutes. They must want everyone to have perfectly shaped eyebrows forever~ Are you unable to delete more than that?

Nevermind, I closed and reopened the app a few minutes later and was able to delete the things it didn't let me before.

Not sure if I've missed it or something, but I can't figure out how to download the CGs from BMPP onto my iPod. Is this just me missing the obvious (i've checked all the FAQ and how to play things), or is there something else going on here?

As far as I am aware, you cannot save any illustration in Be My Princess: PARTY on all iOS devices by any other method than taking screenshots. No tapping, long-tapping, multiple fingers... I have no idea how things are like for Android (so I would need an Android person's input).

The extent of what you can do is open and close the caption plastered over the image, but the stupid X button does not even disappear. Even if you screenshot, if you want the unobstructed image, you must pull the CG down until the X icon is forcibly moved from its original position, screenshot, and then you have to do some editing magic and crop and merge two screenshots. >__> How incredibly unintuitive is that?

Even during the GREE days, iOS players could not save images from their devices, which made having the wallpaper resize options utterly useless from your phone, etc.. Android players had it easy because they could just long-tap an image and get a prompt to save the picture. I mean, WTF iOS. All players, however, could open the browser version of BMP for GREE from their desktops and save like they were normal web images, and those did not have an X button taking up the entire corner.

I'll consider asking Voltage's support team or Tumblr and see if they have anything constructive to say.

Ah well. Thanks so much for such a detailed reply Aiwethryne! (I was wondering how there were HQ event images available on the internet when you couldn't save them…).

Voltage. I love 'em, but I don't understand them. They do weird stuff… (where's a head scratching emoji when you need it?)

It would be awesome if you did. Actually, maybe I'll ask as well. The more people asking the more likely they'll do something about it, right? ;)

Do town events not have event mates like MFWP does for their reform events? :S

Nope, it's to each his own~
No matey mates~ well, there is travel dating to other mates' towns...

But that's what makes it a breather~ it's so relaxing... You go at your own pace

What are these medals I'm getting? MFWP uses medals for the gachas but I don't think that's the case here. It seems like they are..special event-use-only gems kinda?

you exchange medal gacha for buildings or items (pasta or LF card)
buildings need 150 medal each, while castle need 500 medal

each pasta need 75, 500 LF card need 75, and 1000 LF card need 150
and you can only get 3 pastas and 3 of 500 LF card
while for buildings, it's unlimited

Lol I'm the only one that would discover this...they've upped the requirements. Instead of needing to start a main route to have access to events, you now have to finish the first three chapters of a main route. My alt was just in an event a month or so ago, but now clicking on Event Page it just loads an image explaining how events work and instructs "To join events, read through Episode 3." Although here they mean to say Chapter 3 not Episode 3 (I checked at Chapt 1 Ep 3/10 and Chapt 1 Ep 4/10 and still didn't meet the requirements.) I'll update when I know exactly where in the main story it lets you access the Event Page.

Basically no one can join the game and immediately get into events. I can't decide if I see that more being a bad thing or a good thing.

It might be a good thing since when you're just a beginner, you won't have enough cruz to buy mission anyway
I'm even doubt you can find some emates and finish some route...unless you buy gems

Aha. The events unlock as soon as you get to "Story Level 8" and no sooner. Town events have no restrictions though, which is probably a good strategy to help people get going in their main story so they can access the events with everyone else. Maybe they always intended this and that's why town evens are solo.

So, there you have it! After finishing Chapt 7 10/10 you will be able to join any event. Basically finishing the common route (5 chapters) plus the first two chapters of your prince to completion.

There I feel better finally having confirmed exactly when. :3
