So I got a pleasant surprise on my Facebook this morning! Idea Factory is releasing AMNESIA in Japanese with English subtitles as a downloadable game for PS VITA on August 15th, and as a PC game through Steam shortly after!

I'm a bit bummed it's only downloadable, since I prefer physical copies, but something is better than nothing. Who's going to be buying it? :D

I don't have a PSV or Steam either, but can get Steam no problem. If this becomes a trend and they start releasing more titles of PSV, I might invest in one. But Hakuouki was released on 3DS (which I have), PSP, and PS3...I hope all the otome game makers can have a little pow-wow and decide on a single platform to make thing on in English so I don't need multiple, but kinda doubt that will happen xD For now I'll stick with my 3DS and get steam, and if this starts happening more often I'll gladly get a PSV in due time to keep supporting the industry.

I'm thankful it's going to be available on Steam, as I don't have a PSV.  I haven't logged into Steam for a while now, and there are plenty of random games waiting from all those Humble Bundles.  I've even been neglecting the one game I did spend a decent amount of money on, too   

Any news as to pricing for the game?  Hopefully Steam gives a 'newly released' discount or something.

The group(s) creating transliterations of the game since a while back must be both excited and sad that all of their fan efforts will just be there like a quaint memory, now.
