I know this thread is outdated but I wanted to post up a solution for the game being in Japanese  in case anyone wanted it. First you go to settings, then international and if it's set to British English, change it to just english

[member=6216]lovinlife486[/member] thanks for that, I went back into the app and was wondering if you maybe had some advice, when it opens I get to the title screen but there are no buttons anymore, I tried it on two devices if I randomly click around it lets me change my name but that's it.

It doesn't let me do anything. There aren't even any buttons. I'll try to post a screen shot of it.
