Welcome to the world of Niflheim, the darkest and coldest kingdom for the dead, ruled by the King Jean!

This is the story of the Princess, who has awaken from a millennium of sleep by three men (Orlando, J.J. and Philippe), and tries to find her true love, being demanded by King Jean to be his Queen.

Who would he be her everlasting partner?

Could the King be the one she can trust and promise, “till death again do us part?” Or, maybe the other?

I attacked this. The MUSIC kills me. Too bad that it's an intro that will likely only be heard once and never again. >__> But there's music! *A* Hasn't been one since Ninja Love, and Angel or Devil only had it in the intro.

Phew! This game sure is heavy compared to other free games. Music and newly-designed interface seem lovely! I welcome the changes, especially the eerie music of the faraway dead land.

EDIT: Is it just me or the ios version totally leaves out one part of the tutorial? "__" The part where the princess first realizes she's dead, and the guys explain about her origin. Is this intentional, a glitch, or just me sleep-tapping right past it? Õ.Õ

Does anyone know the title of the intro song/singer's name (I'm pretty sure there were vocals)? If it's on NTT Solmare's Youtube channel or Facebook, I've totally not looked. I already forgot the song, like, two minutes after I heard it, so it would be nice of NTT Solmare to let us actually hear it more than once... I am not going to install it on some other device, just to listen to it.

I am so going to regret spending half an hour typing this when I should be working.

The more I play, the more I am met with subtle mixed feelings. I lament over not being capable of getting sixteen CGs (or more x4, assuming that other characters get routes)

Spoiler I mean, really...:

because they are only accessible via real money, but I can accept it because there is BGM, SFX, and an actual MC sprite – although making her skin a giant void is wholly unappealing to me. It's a whole new level to the faceless heroines in generic mobile otoge. But the emotes she... emotes are cute. Seeing her sprite there once in a while is how I prefer a visual novel. Quaint that she is not confined to a bubble in the corner like in many games.

I thought that the backgrounds would not be recycled from NTT Solmare's other games, and, while most of them are not, I noticed some trickery in which they simply put a filter over an existing background to make it match the overall style. Some of the BGM, of course, are remixes of classic songs. I honestly wish that they did not rely on the popularity of those scores to make their tunes memorable on some level.

But I enjoy the story so far. It's rather cheesy and not very serious, though. J.J.'s at least. I would have liked a more serious undertone because of the setting, but I am only near the beginning of the story after a week of playing.
