When is the official release date for the English smartphone version of Hakuoki?

What are the technical specifications for the game? (ie memory, OS version) Will older smartphone models be able to run this game?

iOS 4.3 and above / Android 2.3 and above

Will it be region-locked? (Only playable in certain countries)

For now, it is region-locked to the countries; Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippine, Australia and New Zealand.

Will this game include voice acting?

Yes, original Japanese voices are included.

Will the CGs be exactly the same as the ones found in other platforms like 3DS or Play Station 3? If there are new CGs, who is the artist?

It includes the exclusive scenario with full voices and six new illustrations. This exclusive scenario is available upon purchase of all main episodes.

Will this game be purely a visual novel or are there mini-games/action too?

There is no mini-games/action.

Err... Three of those questions are answered exactly the same. XD;; Too bad for informality. That "Free to play with limitations and in-app purchases" sounds... a bit misleading. How much is free – the prologue? =w=

Pfft, the Phil. Once I read about the region-locking issues people had, I kept thinking that I could be sneaky enough to temporarily use a relative's Android device, if only to see if it would work, but it looked like only one person even had a smartphone.

Yeah that last one was my fault though, I meant to type "Any other major differences", I don't know how I missed it proof reading so many times~ I must have been pretty tired when I put it together.

Just my question when I read answers^^ Description of the app says that only prologue is free, so it's basically paid one.

It's a pity there is no hints what is this exclusive scenario about, but still thanks for getting answers.

By the way, it's easy to create another account in another iTunes shop and use both accounts on one device (I'm sure Google can provide a guide how to do so)
