I'm almost done with Ryoichi and was going to play Yuzuki next, but from what you say I lost all my drive.
Ryoichi wasn't _that_ bad in the end, though definitely lacking.

I needed 2 gems for the secret ending. But it did say "You can increase your Chemistry using Gems 3 for a limited time." I can't compute the sentence...

yes, for limited time, since there's this timer under that sign "use gems"
if I'm not mistaken, they give us 3 days to exchange the gems with chem

in my case, the sign didn't load well so all I can see was that timer
after I refresh, the sign for exchange gems then came up

I noticed they had more typos towards the end of the story. Plus, the rest of the sentence doesn't give any hint if it's a limit of 3, like "up to" or something.

Pffft. I like this new Ryoichi~~

Since I never read the walkthrough and have not used any Gems to boost my Chemistry, I have not read a single Special Story in a long time and now need at least twenty Chemistry. I could probably check out the Gem to Chemistry conversion limits, although I only have ten Gems if that becomes an impediment.

For those who cleared the Secret HE, did u get the background for the VIP room? On the "Choose Character" screen, it shows us getting both the CG and background, but I only got the CG...

I sent Voltage an email but haven't gotten a response back yet.

I agree Ryoichi does look better w/ shorter hair and glasses. I disliked his hair and that arrogant expression. The new style changes that.

Moment of derp: for 29 days I kept thinking this guy is Yuzuki with darker hair and glasses or some random guy, because he looks pretty.

On another note, yay glasses~ And it's the only Ryoichi image I like. His story CGs are really meh *cries over the 8 spent gems*

Ooh, I definitely dig that more defenseless look. They could have made him the ditzy type instead and have him look that sexy all the time in traditional clothes.

What bothers me the most about Ryochi's hair is that it makes him and Yuzuki look very much the same in CGs >.<

And am I the only one thinking CGs in this game are rather... plain compared to other games? I expect more when I pay gems to get the CG, but what I see is just a bigger portrait, like a zoomed-in sprite with a little visual effect.

I'm still diligently playing this game, though I don't bother to play it rationally. Special story? Sure take my gems! CG? You let me down last time but I'm forgiving 8D SHE costs gems too? Here go my last shiny stones 8D Oohh a double fever, let's be competitive and burn enough snack bars to beat that first-ranked scoop mate :>

But to be honest, with this messy strategy I'm actually having fun. Like real fun.

HE - stairs
Super HE - bed
Secret HE - CG
All ends - bg
