By the way, you probably should not use the "Add image to post" function for your signature because it sets only a thumbnail with link. You'd want to use some other image site to have something larger.

Forbidden Love, as in Mike Jones, Johannes, etc.? Which route did you choose? What stunned you?

I played mike jones' route but hmm let me see surprised isn't the right word...when i first played i didn't expect it to be as good as i thought i mean its 8.1/10 for me at least. I mean it can use a little work on how the present the app to their readers/players but other than that they got the whole story concept down. I felt because I judged how it looked it may be ehhhh but i was wrong aha.

But if anything they should take notes on how NTT Solmore does their games, I'm not saying its bad but for example : Whenever NTT Solmore has new games they try something new (Avatar looks, Navagation display, menu display) thats some stuff they can take some tips on.

Their whole mini game thing is original which I like...I guess what i'm trying to say not only should i not judge their stories by their looks but it'd be nice to have their overlay for the app look....idk beautiful but i may be asking for too much ...lol

Whatever the developer of FL is called now (Accela, VERYGOOD, M&AOnline – it's an utter mess, and they removed the English portion of their official website; even the title is different between operation systems!), they certainly could do better and be more progressive with their designs. I remember when they first reformatted their app's layout, and... eh. And their other apps look exactly the same~ XD;;

To be fair, Forbidden Love has been around for a considerable amount of time, and it is not a money egg from a comparatively large company. Even before it came out in English, it already had several routes in Japanese, though that is probably to be expected before it hits foreign markets. Over time, they added CGs and sprites to old routes, proofread lines, and so forth.

As for the story, Mike's first route was one of the strongest in his arc. I remember being at the edge of my seat at Chapter 16... and then that ending happened not long after. So I was pretty glad that they decided to create a NEW second story for Mike, though it partially felt like an excuse to show off all the characters who definitely never existed while Mike and Johannes were the primary love interests.

The following Mike stories really decline, and I don't even remember what happens by the seventh story. It personally becomes more about the melodrama and the MC being all sad from her MC complexes. Some people like that, but it just lost interest for me. Likewise, Johannes' first story was pretty good. Then nope~ More because of his degrade in personality, however.

Like you said about preconceived notions, I feel like Tom's route is under-appreciated because his story came to be one of my favorites. Vixey doesn't even read anything that is not about Robert. Then Mathew and Jack~ Ah... I just can't believe that I have been playing this game for two years. Tom never gets his spotlight in events! It's always MIKEMIKEMIKEMIKEMIKEJohannesMIKEMIKEMIKE.

Just these companies now a days if i had a chance to make a game! Hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggh~!!  DO YOU KNOW HOW RISKY I'D GET! With a good fair share of otome games i know what the girls and or guys want! Nail biting , breath taking, star stunned moments that make your tummy turn into Jelly! It'd make you have second guesses on wtf you are reading..that's how good i'd love to make a game. But since i'm simple minded and i'd have no idea what to do. Soo i mean that holds me back T^T
