Is that what happens in the game or the plot for the anime? Cuz it sounds like the MC is male and should be romancing the three girls but they each have three guys to choose from? Wut? There are 9 dudes on the game's cover.

Haven't heard of this anime or maybe I don't remember but the casting is good. I'd watch it for the voices: Kaji Yuuki, Sugita Tomokazu, Saiga Mitsuki, Yusa Koji, Yoshino Hiroyuki, Sugiyama Noriaki, etc.

well the mc, sorata, is a 12-year-old boy. you follow him in the prologue and board the ship or whatever, and after that you get to choose from 3 female mc's who each have their own set of guys.
(he does get his own route in the epilogue but by then you've kind of forgotten about him, lol)

but yea the casting is great, my fav is actually one of the female leads (takagaki ayahi, who sang that epicawesomesauce op theme in jyuzaengi). also kind of surprised with sugita tomokazu as one of the 9 male leads. he is NOT someone i would have picked for an otome game. (fwiw i thought his character was kind of......creepy..)

and as for op's question, im guessing they are going to focus on the three "official" pairings and then go with a "everybody just gave up the mission,and went back home" kind of ending. there's a lot of overlap in all the routes which i guess is good for storytelling purposes.

An otome game titled Bonjour♪ Koiaji Pâtisserie is getting an ONA. Only five minutes per episode. It will air on Oct. 11, 2014.

As I was talking of it on the " my first otome game" subject, I reminded that Meine Liebe was made into an anime too. Just to mention it,a lthough the otome part was totally cut of the scenario, which was almost only centered on the guys, their personnal issue, and their political views. No more female character (a guy I know from a french forum, who played the game - yes! was quite disappointed that the hot nurse wasn't part of the cast in the anime). On which I don't complain, because the game was mainly a stat builder, so the MC wasn't clearly visible neither.

The anime is quite old now, I assume it can be one of the first anime adaptation of an otome game. And it was not bad, but sadly not great either.

Diabolik Lovers! *Sigh* I read the synopsis and was concerned, than I read reviews and I was prepared. I watched it...I....loved it! I felt dirty, but I loved it! The gothic atmosphere, the music, the glowing eyes, and most of all vampires just being nasty monsters. Love it all. It's not for everyone and I wouldn't even know who to recommend it to. The story is absolute banana cakes and it's mostly(what my husband calls)

I can go on and on about Dialovers as I'm a bit obsessed. Oddly enough, Brothers Conflict is the one that angered me but I hate watched the whole thing. I'll probably hate watch the second season too.

I think that most chicks from otome games go with the flow too easily. Stack that on top of the feeling of helplessness and Stockholm Syndrome, and that equals plenty of instances of otoge "love."

All that many of these games/anime do is aggregate the myth that women who say 'no' really what to be raped and abused. But it is a popular fantasy if these games are continually bought and played by the masses, spurring on the creation of various sequels and prequels.

Right?? I mean rape fantasies are one thing, but perpetuating rape culture is another thing and I don't know where we draw that line. I worry about younger women who may play these games and start to think this behavior is normal or expected. Ahhh I could go on and on about this kind of conflicted feminist feelings I sometimes have with otoge.. *wanders off blabbering*

Even though the otome game will not be released until February, Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! (these are terribly long to type) is officially an otome game with an anime adaptation. Yaaaaaayyyyy~~~ Episode 2 of this series is premiering today or something.

I'll... procrastinate some more and just link the stuff here. Doubt the game will have a Visual Novel Database entry, yet, so it's just the article. Still have those other links from one of my previous posts to add in the main post.

The game itself is allegedly free-to-play, but, if it costs money, I'll probably use a gift card. Because I want this. But one can only surmise when an English version gets released. Still, I don't know how a bunch of boys from an all-boys school will meet some idiot girl and have to protect her forever, unless they change up the setting established in the anime enough.

I sure did not see any females in the crowds of the strong, smart, or whatever chikuwabu man was pointing out, but, as Battle Lover Pink was talking about creating a Co-ed club, there could be a female or three hiding out on campus. Maybe the MC crossdresses so that she can attend the all-boys school, and no one else knows because she's rich. Or the teacher. Or the old man's relative. So they all blackmail each other, and blackmail surely leads to love~

I watched the second episode just now, and hah. Typically not as funny as the first episode, but hah. Magical "pocket" dimension. Creepy that Wombat is a walking Soul Gem, while space technology is working in a Mighty Birdy way. That ending song animation was depressing somehow. Poor Natsume (already forgot his actual name by now).

XD It's already been in the list with the links and whatnot. It's the sixth title there. Love... Koi... You know~ Unless that is not what you're talking about. I vaguely remember two different Bonjour... Patisserie things by that same developer, which you can probably look at since I did link their website *because* the game had no entry on the Visual Novel Database.
