So I just started DN yesterday (I'm playing Hanzo's route

) and I unlocked the CG for the chapter 2 but I can't see it unless I pay for it... Do you really have to pay to see the CGs in this game?!

If you saw the CG during the story, you should be able to both view and save the image for free from the Album. Only if you missed the CG is when you are required to either purchase it or replay the route again with the correct answer. If you saw it while you played and the Album does not display it, send the game support people an inquiry.

I used a Story Save Ticket just for this occasion~ >__>;; Of course, it does not help in knowing whether the answer goes left or right. The choice was in part 8, and the CG was supposed to appear in part 12. I referred to my own personal notes, every Kazemasa main walkthrough comments on this forum, and multiple random walkthroughs across the web. They all say that what is shown in our forum's walkthrough should be correct... Of course, I am not ruling out that the walkthroughs I am skimming through off-site had based everything/copy and pasted everything written from our forum's main walkthrough. It's sort of humorous when all of our written mistakes end up being repeated across numerous blogs.

Well, all I can say is to send an inquiry to the support team with all the applicable details provided. By the way, it would help our fact checking in the future if you mention which character you are playing, rather than only the chapter.

EDIT: I think I know why I didn't get it!
I'm going for the lovey dovey ending actually but I changed to a +1 answer just for this once to get the CG...

So is that why I didn't get it?

No, that's not. Only +1 answers and certain scenes that are not driven by answers give CGs.

So who did everyone vote for in the favorite character polls~~? I voted for Noritsune 112 times... Ranked 90, so as long as I stay within 100 I'll be content. I mean, those prizes are ordered kind of stupidly. Why are the flipping useless candies in the rank set above where I am? I'll gladly settle for lower since it means I get checkpoint items.

Even though I wanted to choose Noritsune in the first place, I compared with other rankers to see how much people wanted the other men. As usual, Sohma and Benkei had the least voters at the time. Noritsune was also low, I bet because the newbs who vote can't even play his route, yet. By the end (as I type this as the poll closes)...

Hyosuke, Goyo, and Noritsune had the least competition.
